Tutoring
The EOPS Program provides one-to-one tutoring sessions through the EOPS POWER Center. Appointments are recommended, but students can also drop in for assistance if a tutor is available. All tutors have been approved to tutor their subjects by the appropriate faculty. They are qualified, friendly and trained to help you succeed!

Success Projects
Students seeking additional help with math are encouraged to participate in our Success Projects. The Projects provide intensive, small-group tutoring for selected math and math-based courses. Course selection varies semester to semester; selected courses are published approximately four weeks before registration.
The main components of the Projects include:
- Instructional support
- Tutor involvement in the class
- Content review
- Help with homework
- Test preparation
